Freyja Conrad of La Grange and Amy Vana of Darien were honorable mention winners of the College of DuPage 2009 Cooperative Learning and Internship Striving for Excellence Program. Students who recently completed internships and other learning projects were invited to display information about their work in observance of national career development month. Students submitted essays, resumes and letters of support from faculty advisers and site supervisors as part of the project.

Ricardo Valadez of Darien has earned a certified flight instructor instrument airplane certificate from the Institute of Aviation at the University of Illinois, Champaign.
Ermir Ali of Elmhurst recently graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a professional studies degree.
