I am a recent transplant to Chicago from Minneapolis. I am very proud to represent Lexus, to be a part of a company who is passionate about their pursuit of perfection. My wife and I enjoy cycling, the north country, and our family, including our ten grandchildren. We are also very active in our church, where I serve in a pastoral role. I believe in helping people find the vehicle they desire and in continuing to be there to help them in the future. After 6 ½ years in the Automotive Business, I learned to appreciate all the new technology that Lexus incorporates into their vehicle’s. I decided to join the best Lexus store in the Midwest and will soon be celebrating 3 years here! When not working, I enjoy walking with my wife and our Great Dane, going to car shows, and visiting new places.

I started with Lexus in St. Louis in 1993 and joined the McGrath Lexus team in 1995.  I have been lucky to represent such a great product and work at McGrath Lexus of Westmont with a staff that has great passion for the Lexus products and the reputation of the McGrath name. My career in the automobile industry has spanned nearly 40 years; beginning in 1969 with one of largest dealers in the country at the time. While there, I learned from some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry. From there, I decided to expand my knowledge of all aspects of the auto industry by working for one  the largest after- market companies in the United States, again learning from the very best. Finally, 19 years ago, after a long and varied career in the auto industry, I was given the opportunity to come to work for a relatively new dealership, McGrath Lexus of Westmont. This by far has been my most rewarding experience yet, working along side the most professional management and service teams.

I am very committed to my career and take great pride in working for such a great organization.During my spare time I enjoy riding my Harley Davidson with my husband that I have been with for the past 21 years.  I am a Master Certified Lexus Sales Consultant. I have over 28 years experience in automotive sales. I joined McGrath Lexus of Westmont in 2000 and my time at McGrath Lexus has been the best. I am a US Navy Veteran serving 4 years on a Cataduct Crew aboard the USS.Nimitz. I reside in the south suburbs with my wife Deborah and our 4 daughters.

It is hard to say what event in my life has made me who I am. I do not know if it was the 25 years in the Automotive Industry, the 4 daughters or the 34 years of marriage. It probably was all three. They actually mirror each other. They are full of ups and downs, challenging to the point of exhaustion and so rewarding that I would change nothing. The one thing that I do know is that working at McGrath Lexus has been one of the highlights of my professional career. After building process driven companies for 24 years, I thought a challenge was in order. I started working at McGrath Lexus of Westmont in June of 2008. It has been a wonderful experience and one that I will never forget.

I grew up in the automobile business and have been around car dealerships my entire life. I have been with McGrath Lexus since September 1991. I have an extensive and encyclopedic knowledge of Lexus vehicles and their parts. I am married with two boys ages 3 & 5.  I am dedicated father, husband and McGrath Lexus employee.
